Our Instructor

Greg Miller is a Manatee County local with 17 years of dedicated law enforcement service and counting. Rising to the rank of Lieutenant in 2021, he oversees Internal Affairs, Training, Backgrounds, Recruiting, and Accreditation. 

As a Field Training Officer, he played a crucial role in shaping the next generation of officers, imparting essential knowledge and skills to ensure their preparedness for the challenges of the job. His experience as a Training Officer further reinforced his commitment to educational and performance excellence, especially in law enforcement.

Greg's expertise spans a wide range of specialized areas of training and instruction, including firearms. As a fully certified Firearms Instructor, Rifle Instructor, Glock Armorer, and Taser Instructor, he has exceptional practical and technical knowledge, equipping officers with the tools, training, and expertise necessary to effectively and safely carry out their duties in the field.

His commitment to professionalism and leadership within the department has earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
